Les photos sont maintenant sur le mur à coté du lit (avec ma couette préférée de chez les Suédois).
It's a project I've had for a while to decorate our bedroom. We already had a picture from our wedding (our feet) and I wanted to do a series of black and white photos representing us to go with it. It took a while to select the pictures, knowing of course that we can change them depending on our moods.
The pictures are now on the wall by the bed (with my favorite duvet cover from the Swedish).
Ma serie c'est la Tour Eiffel vue depuis Montmartre, le Pont Neuf de Toulouse (je suis née pas bien loin) et une photo des Pyrénées dans la vallée ou j'ai grandi.
Hubby's series has a picture from a hike in John's Gap, SC representing Appalachia, a house belonging to his step-grand-mother in his home town, and a wood sculpture of a whale not far from his mom's in Maui.
My series has the Eiffel Tower seen from Montmartre, the Pont Neuf bridge in Toulouse (I was born not very far from it) and a picture of the Pyrenees in the valley were I grew up.
Love it! That is such a great idea! Of course, if I did that in my home I don't know what pictures I would use! We have both moved around so much, prior to getting married.
RépondreSupprimer@Jessica: Pick places that have a meaning, and you can always change the picture from time to time. It could also be pictures of people who have inspired each one of you...
