Atlanta, ville de contrastes

Il y a des moments que j'ai particulièrement aimé a Atlanta. Peut après avoir gare la voiture en centre ville, alors que nous faisions face a l'immeuble d'ATT, j'ai découvert niche a ses pieds une magnifique mosquée.
There are times that I particularly liked in Atlanta. Shortly after parking the car downtown, while we faced the ATT building, I discovered a gorgeous mosque nestled at its feet.J'ai aussi beaucoup aime ce petit garçon surpris par un jet d'eau du Centennial Olympic Park. L'endroit idéal par un chaud jour d'été quand on a pas le temps ou l'argent d'amener la famille a un parc aquatique ou une rivière.
I also really enjoyed this little boy surprised by the water stream at the Centennial Olympic Park. The site is ideal during a hot summer day when you don't have the time or the money to bring your family to a water park or a river.

The old in the middle of the new
Au milieu de la rue alors que je prenais des photos, cet homme m'a aborde, il voulait lui aussi etre prit en photo. J'étais un peu mal a l'aise, mais aussi reconnaissante de l'opportunité de prendre en photo un autre aspect de la ville.
In the middle of the street, while I was taking pictures, this man came up to me, he wanted to have his picture taken to. I felt uneasy at first, but also thankful for the opportunity to take a picture of an other aspect of the town.
En regardant ces photos je me dit que c'est bizarre que ce soit aussi la maison de CNN et de Coco-Cola...

Et pour finir une astuce. Pour voir la ville de haut il y a l'Hotel Westin (merci Nicolas pour la correction)
And to finish a tip. To see the city from high up there is the Westin Hotel :Au sommet de cet immeuble il y au un restaurant. J'y étais allée en 1997 pour manger une glace. Le restaurant tourne a 360 degrés, une façon géniale de voir la ville. Il y a un ascenseur de verre qui donne une impression étrange et vertigineuse.
Malheureusement il faut payer pour le prendre, mais il y a une lacune dans leur système. Vous pouvez prendre l'ascenseur principal jusqu'à l'étage le plus haut, et finir le reste a pied. Certes ce n'est pas l'ascenseur de verre, ni le restaurant pivotant car vous serez a l'étage juste en dessous mais la vue est impressionnante.
At the top of this building there is a restaurant. I went there in 1997 to eat an ice cream. The restaurant rotates at 360 degrees, a wonderful way to see the city. There is a glass elevator that give a weird and vertiginous feeling.
Sadly you have to pay to take it, but there is a loophole in their system. You can take the main elevator to the highest authorized floor and then go further up on foot. Mind you it's not the glass elevator, nor the rotating restaurant as you will be the floor under, but the view is quite impressive.
