France J4: Retour a Toulouse

France Day 4: Back to Toulouse

Après 3 ans loin de mon Sud-Ouest natal j'y ai enfin remis les pieds. La journée sur place a été un peu courte car nous prenions l'avion le matin et j'avais rendez-vous chez l'ostheo en fin d’après-midi. Je crois que c'est la seule fois de notre séjour ou je dirais qu'on a eu mauvais temps. Nous sommes partis de Paris sous le soleil pour découvrir des nuages bien gris et un temps un peu frais dans le Sud-Ouest. Heureusement ça n'a pas dure.
Nous avons pu amener Hubby voir la Place du Capitole et la Salle des Illustres après un bon repas chez Mamie.

After three years away from my native South-West I finally got back. The first day there was a bit short because we took the plane from Paris that morning and I had an osteopath appointment that afternoon. I think it's the only day of our trip that we had bad weather.
We left a sunny Paris to find dark grey clouds and a cooler weather in the South-West. Thankfully it did not last.
We were able to take Hubby to the Place du Capitole (center Plaza of Toulouse) and the Salle the Illustres (the main room of the townhall, beautifully decorated) after a good meal at my grandmother's.
Et bien sur la photo obligatoire sur nos signes du zodiaque de la Croix Occitane de Moretti.

Of course we had to take the mandatory picture over our zodiac signs on Moretti's Occitan Cross.
Mais c’était aussi redécouvrir la Rue Alsace Lorraine qui a bien change

To me it was also re-discovering the Street (Rue) Alsace Lorraine which has changed quite a lot.
D'autres sont toujours la, ça rassure au moins.

Thankfully other things are still there and that's kind of reassuring.
Nous avons aussi fait quelques photos de nuit de la Garonne (histoire de montrer a Hubby que les couchers de soleil toulousains vallent bien ceux d'Hawaii).

We also took a few night photos of the Garonne (might as well show Hubby that the Toulouse sunsets are just about as pretty as the Hawaiian ones).
Et pour finir c’était repas asiatique avec la jumelle de ma maman et son compagnon d’où est tire la photo du billet précèdent.

To end the day we had an asian meal with my mom, her twin sister and her boyfriend.
