La French Broad sort de son lit

Dans la nuit de dimanche a lundi il y a eu des pluies torrentielles, enfin on m'a dit ça car moi j'étais tranquillement a l'intérieur. Par contre en allant au travail j'ai bien vu que le reflet de l'eau était plutôt proche de la route (il faisait encore noir). A peine le travail fini j'ai file a la maison, récupéré l'appareil photo et je suis aller marcher en bord de rivière pour admirer la puissance de l'eau.

Sunday to Monday night there was a torrential downpour, well that's what I was told because I was safely inside. However when I went to work I could see the reflection on the water was much closer to the road (it was still dark). A soon as I was done with work I went straight home, grabbed my camera and went to walk by the river to admire the power of water.

Je n'étais pas toute seul a admirer la crue. En marchant j'ai vu un motocycliste arrêté, une jeune a vélo a regarde la crue, puis moi en disant "incroyable" tout en continuant de pédaler. D'autres prenaient comme moi des photos.
I was not alone admiring the flood. While walking I saw a motorcyclist stopped, a young woman on a bike looking at the flood, then at me, saying "amazing" while pedaling. Others like me were taking pictures.
