Quiche Aux Blettes et Au Poivron Jaune

Red Chard and Yellow Pepper Quiche

Ingredients
Une botte de blettes a cardes rouges
Un demi oignon
Un demi poivron jaune
Fromage râpé
Bacon (végétarien ou pas)
4 œufs
Lait ou crème fraîche liquide (3-4 cuillères a soupe)
sel, poivre, noix muscade
pâte brisée

Four a 175°C

While I'm not really creative when it comes to most recipes, it's not the case for quiche and lasagna. I should say that it's fairly easy, follow the base and then you can add whatever you want.
I had a craving for red chard and a left over of yellow pepper, so I did a quiche out of it.
We really enjoyed it and a quarter of it was plenty enough for my dinner. It re-heats pretty well too.

Ingredients
A bunch of red chard
1/2 onion
1/2 yellow pepper
grated cheese
tempeh bacon (or real)
4 eggs
milk or whipping cream (3-4 tbsp)
salt, pepper, nutmeg
quiche crust

Oven at 350°F
1.Prepare the quiche dough or by ready made. Set it in the quiche pan and put it in the oven for a few minutes before you top it with the ingredients.

2.Wash the chard. Separate the leafs from the ribs. Chop the ribs and saute in the pan with the chopped onion half until the onion is translucent.
Slice the pepper in pieces an add to the pan.
Chop the chard in rough pieces and add tothe pan, cover so the chard will wilt a bit.
Take off the heat and add the grated cheese.

3.Saute the bacon in a separate pan. Cut into small pieces and spread at the bottom of the pan.

4.Spread the chard-pepper-onion mix over the bacon.

5.In a bowl whisk the eggs with a bit of salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour over the mixture and cook 25mn in the oven.
